Roadtripping

I can honestly say that I'm a fan of a good roadtrip but I draw the line at more than 10 hours in the car. This summer our new vehicle has been getting a roadtripping workout between Brookfield, Buffalo and the Outer Banks in a few weeks. It's a great car for trips though, I'm so glad we got it. We made it to and from Buffalo this weekend without too many hangups. It was a tiring weekend with some pretty fun moments wrapped in. It's always nice to spend time with family and catch up, or in my case, get to know them better.

So speaking of trips, I know some of you know my brother and for those of you that do or are just interested he has some pretty exciting news. It'll be weird not having them around locally but it's a big step for them and I know they are going to enjoy their new life. Plus now I have an excuse to go visit the desert!
