Geography

I'm overloading on posts to make up for sparse posting recently, or maybe I'm in a "lull before the storm" situation at work right now. Either way, you love it (hopefully!).

So many times when I've told people that I'm a geographer they immediately think I know the capital of every country or where anything in the world is. Sad to disappoint but this is not the case. And geography is so much more than that.

Any doubt that this isn't the case? Check out this article by Jerome Dobson on the depths of Geography featuring images by Jay Merryweather. It truly is like an iceburg and most people are only thinking about what is above the water. Thank you ESRI!
