Chaos Remedied

So I have no photos yet (sorry) but the master bath is almost back in order! Our decision to paint it, which came when we realized we had to reseal the toilet, came quickly so I have no plan for how I'm going to decorate our new tan and green masterpiece. I want it to be soothing and relaxing so perhaps I'll look for prints and such inspired by mother nature (and not the version of mother nature that has been giving us all this crappy weather lately). I will say that I totally plan on using this idea for a soap dish (since I can't get the aforementioned shave-y thing yet). I know I'll have to regularly rinse the rocks but I won't have to stare at a nasty puddle of soap water in the soap dish every day.

I've gotten really motivated about the stuff we're doing around the house. Next on our list is the kitchen backsplash which reminds me that we should probably actually order that tile.

I have no news on the car yet. The weather and this project have kind of made that go by the wayside temporarily but since Jake's car has to be safety inspected this month (yay for stupid State of VA regulations) I suspect it is in our best interest to get rid of it before paying to have that done. Our email to the salesman at the Honda dealership with a bunch of questions was answered with what almost seems like a form response that answered none of them. And I'm surprised that after we told him of our definite interest, that we haven't heard from him since. I'm not a fan of the high pressure sale but this is really surprising. Hopefully we can get some answers this week.

I'm feeling particularly motivated this week. Not only did I manage a legs against the wall half handstand in yoga last night (I'm starting to like yoga and I can't believe I'm actually able to relax in class!) but I did 25 minutes of cardio and 25 minutes of weight training this morning. I hope I can keep this motivation going!
