Summertime to me means many things, one of which is crabs and beer. Jake was kind enough to indulge me with a trip to Quarterdeck, which is near Rosslyn and Fort Myer for some steamed crabs yesterday. He's not a seafood fan but came along for beer and other tasty foods. I picked through just half a dozen and enjoyed every minute of it. Crabs have been tradition in my family for quite a while. Both of my parents grew up in Baltimore as did I and I've been picking crabs since I was a little girl. It's nice to have a place close to us that offers them although I will admit it's a better deal to go to the waterfront and get a few dozen to go. At least here you don't have to clean up the mess yourself though!
