The Final Countdown

I hope my post title has the song running through your head down. Tonight marks the beginning of my last grad school class, hopefully ever. The next 12 Mondays, with the exception of July 5, will be spent exploring the ins and outs of application development using ArcServer and ArcObjects. You probably have no idea what that even is unless you're a GIS professional. Basically we'll be learning to write code in order to customize and create tools for the mapping software I use at work on a daily basis. It's going to be tough, I have no doubt, but once I'm finished I'll be done with school forever. Well, real school anyway. The photography class I want to take in the fall doesn't count as that will be fun. Right now I'm riding a 3.88 GPA. Not that it matters that much in graduate school, but I will feel particularly accomplished if I can finish having gotten just the one B.  Here's hoping!

Also, I believe you might actually see a post from my better half this week. He's been hard at work on our master bathroom and photographing the progress. So far the shower doors are down, the tub has been re-caulked and a new towel bar is up. Tonight he's hanging the new shower curtain rod and then phase 1 of the project will be complete. He's not much of a blogger and has attempted and failed several times to get one going so you'll see less of him here than me, but I know he's prepping to talk about this project so please stand by!
