Friday Outfit

I wore a really great outfit on Wednesday and neglected to take a photo. I tried when I got home but my mirror in my bedroom was super filthy and the photo looked even worse than the crappy ladies room ones I typically share. So I will plan to wear that one again in a few weeks and make it the outfit of the week. (And I will admit that my lack of time and stress about the issue finally won out and we have a bi-weekly cleaning service starting next week. Whew!)

I am pretty sure this skirt has appeared before but maybe before I started the official Friday posts. It is one of my favorites. I love the pale blush color with the black lace contrast. It is a very forgiving fabric and fits well regardless of how much water I may be retaining. I paired it with a structured black top that has a mock neck. My only real critique now that I look at the photo carefully is that I wish the sleeves gave just a tiny bit more coverage. My baby-lifting arms are looking pretty beefy here.

I have not one but TWO girlie dates this weekend! Very excited for female time, it is always very welcome. I also intend to do some research on registering with the bone marrow donor registry. Friends of ours have just temporarily relocated to Cincinnati where their young daughter is being treated for HLH via bone marrow transplant. It is awesome to think that someone's life could be so easily saved so I am going to look into it. Seems like the right thing to do.
