Last week was a kind of crazy week and pretty annoying in a number of ways that I won't bore you with here. Life has kicked into high gear (even more so) now that we are in the final countdown to baby #2. Jake, with the help of my dad has gotten half of the back yard fence project finished. He also painted the nursery for me. Declan now has a twin sized mattress in his room and as soon as we secure his dresser to the wall with safety straps we are going to put the toddler rail on the crib. Yikes! I am working on painting the dresser for the nursery and getting together frames/photos/art for both of the boys rooms. Things are really coming along.
And speaking of photos we decided on sort of the spur of the moment to have some maternity photos taken. I realized that this was the last time and I saw some photos that a friend had done on Facebook that I loved so I contacted the photographer and set up both a maternity session and a newborn session for after baby's arrival. (Not that this little blog gets much traffic but I just want to say I was not compensated in any way for my comments here.) I was a little nervous but the results were amazing. Kaitlynn of Kate Juliet Photography is just amazing. She only does this part time but you can really tell she's passionate about it. And she's a wonderful person to boot. I am looking forward to working with her again soon. Check out her blog entry with our maternity shoot here.
