We had a pretty nice week in Maine last week with rain on just a couple of days. The little guy had a fun time playing and spending time with his grandparents. Now we are back and roaring forward with preparations. We got back very early yesterday morning so after a couple of hours of sleep we dropped of the kiddo at daycare and spent the day unpacking and then working around the house. Jake nearly finished prepping the nursery for painting (woo hoo!) while I worked on going through some of the still unpacked boxes and positioning things where they need to be, at least for the time being. My goal is to mostly clean out our formal living room which has been serving as our storage room for months and months. Eventually we hope to install some library shelving in there for all of our books and also some kind of furniture but that is low priority behind the family room and basement. Weeding in the yard has unfortunately gone by the wayside and things are looking a little wild but not terrible. We figure we will have more time for that kind of thing next summer. For now, getting the house in order before the baby's arrival is top priority.
Speaking of, I don't know that it is possible for me to look very stylish during pregnancy but I am giving it my best shot today:
Good thing that turkey timer isn't a true indication that baby is done baking yet, it has been out for months. I am carrying lower this month and definitely more in the front and less in the sides/back then last time. It makes for interesting balance issues.
