The Germs

We barely made it to the end of the second week in daycare and the illness has hit. Poor Declan ended up with a fever, congestion and a pretty gnarly cough. The pediatrician said he had croup and we had to delay his one year vaccinations until later this week. And then I got sick. I missed 3 days of work last week and had a fever of 101. Thankfully he was well enough to go back to daycare so I could relax and try to get better. I was doing much better by yesterday morning. I haven't been that sick in quite some time. Kids are such good little incubators, it is scary. I'm back at work now though and am pretty much just tired. My body aches from coughing, hopefully I didn't bruise any ribs. I have done that twice in my life and it isn't pretty.
