The little guy is getting stronger by the day. We hit three months on Saturday and he's doing great. He sits much more sturdily in the Bumbo and for longer without getting fussy. He isn't rolling himself over consistently but he has done it a couple of times and will hopefully get faster at figuring it out over the next month. He "talks" a lot and babbled a whole conversation with my mom on Saturday. It was adorable. He gets fussy in the evenings when he is tired but still sleeps great at night (10 1/2 hours last night!) although I know that can change come 4 to 5 months. We'll see, maybe our luck will hold out. As you can tell by the photo below, little man has become quite the leaky faucet. It's cute, and that is what bibs are for!
Work is going well and although I miss the little guy during the day it is nice to have adult interaction on a more frequent basis then when I was at home. Of course now we are just crossing our fingers that Congress and the President can get things worked out so that we aren't staring at any furlough days here at my agency. I work for a particularly small agency who can make other cuts before resorting to furloughs so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Financially we would be fine but we don't want to get off track in our saving plan for our house next year.
