Team Wade!

I believe that I've made it pretty clear that my choices in television aren't always the most quality, but hey, I like what I like, right? I picked up Hart of Dixie back in the fall because I like Rachel Bilson. The show really was pretty good and had enough humor to balance the drama of it. Of course any good CW drama has to have a love triangle and it all came to a head in last night's season finale. For those not in the know, the main character, played by Bilson is Dr. Zoe Hart. She comes to this podunk southern town after life as a surgical resident in Manhattan throws some curveballs her way. Come to find out her father is not really her father and her real father has died and left her his general practice in Bluebell, Alabama. She falls for George Tucker, town lawyer, who has spent some time in New York and is a bit more refined than many of the other residents of the town. He his, of course, engaged to his high school sweetheart. Zoe's neighbor and local bartender Wade falls for Zoe but can't seem to tell her. Wade is a bit of a diamond in the rough but out of the two I'm totally pulling for Wade over George when it comes to Zoe's affections. I won't ruin it but somethings kind of came to a head in last night's finale and they've left the door wide open for a full-on love triangle come fall season. I, of course know how I would like it to go, but it won't because that makes for poor quality drama. Sigh. Not to use a terrible Twillight cultural reference but I am Team Wade, all the way.
