Sniff, Sniff

So I was lucky enough to pick up a cold over the weekend. It's pretty gnarly but I've been getting by. I finally broke down and took a Sudafed right before lunch after having to excuse myself from a meeting due to excessive nose-blowing. It's very warm and humid outside right now too which just makes it worse. I hope that it starts to clear up tomorrow because it's really bumming me out! This is what I get for sleeping on Jake's side of the bed when he was away this past weekend. You can bet I have since washed those sheets in hot water. Oh and I have totally convinced myself that Berger's cookies are an appropriate cold treatment.

I've been using Aquaphor healing ointment on my nose to keep it from getting really sore and start peeling as a result of all the tissues. I have to admit this works pretty well if I keep up with it. I use it on my hands sometimes in the winter when they are particularly dry and although it's kind of greasy it really helps. I just have to remember not to touch my iPhone for about 10 minutes after I put it on.

Dublin climbed up on the couch last night and put her head on my belly in the cutest way possible. I wonder if she knows. Can dogs sense these things? She has no idea what she's in for.
