Easter Eggs Rollin'

It's that time of year again. I just went to pick up my White House Easter egg. I have one for every year that I've been at my agency and you can tell the difference between administrations by the design. Also by the price. As an employee I used to get one each year for free. When Obama came into office and started working on cutting spending that was one of the first perks to go. I can understand so I just purchase one each year to keep my collection growing. Another change the Obamas made was to start using a more sustainable recycled wood product, an excellent change in my opinion anyway.

We don't really have any special plans for Easter this year. My parents are visiting us on Saturday to go out to lunch, belatedly, for Jake's birthday. We might go to the movies on Sunday and (I say again) finally see the Hunger Games. We were going to go last night but the movie is long and I wasn't sure I'd make it through. I have officially reached old lady status.
