Getting going

Ugh, it's been one of those mornings. I can't seem to get myself together. I realized I lost a button on my coat but the spare isn't attached to the coat so I won't be able to fix it until I get home. My eye is healing which is good but the red has spread out and I'm vying for the role of zombie in disguise. The past 36 hours has done a good job of reminding me of all the things I hate about wearing glasses. My lenses were so filthy by the end of the day yesterday, it make me wonder how I could still see out of them.

Jake has been busy, busy, busy this week. I think last night was the first time since the weekend that we actually sat on the couch together for more than 15 minutes time. He's taking me out tonight though. I asked him to take me not somewhere new but somewhere he knew I liked a lot and not to tell me where. Should be fun.

I'm very excited because my longest and dearest friend is coming to visit me next weekend. She arrives on Friday and I have planned a fun weekend for her and I to spend together. I haven't seen her in 2 years but we do a good job of keeping tabs on each other online.

As for the rest of this weekend I think it'll be a good one. Enjoy everyone!
