So I know you're dying to know and I'm happy to report I finished the 5k in 28:43, a pace of 9:15 per mile. I was thrilled at that and it felt good to be racing again. My friend was also very pleased with her performance and we celebrated by trying all three Cambridge Brewery drafts they were offering and snatching and grabbing the elusive soft pretzels that would appear periodically. It was such a fun race and a really fun weekend overall. I really liked Boston and look forward to visiting again, sharing more stories and more laughs. I also loved my friend's dog, what a sweetie! I have to make sure I get a photo of him next time.
