I've been totally crushing on this album by the Cary Brothers, Under Control. My favorite song is their cover of Something About You featuring Laura Jansen. It's a cover of an 80's song I remember hearing on the top 40 station, B104 in Baltimore. It reminds me of summers at the community pool at the end of our block.
The original version was by a group called Level 42. Not sure if they hit the charts with much else but I remember this song being very popular. I like both versions very much, the pop-ness of the original 80's version and the more haunting balladness of the Cary Brothers version. Enjoy!
