Freedom to be annoying

I am completely in support of our right to free speech. But when that free speech is slung in my face in an unaccepting manner, I get annoyed. The Lyndon LaRouche supporters set up camp from time to time in front of my favorite Cosi and they are some of the most aggressive people I've encountered on the streets of DC. As someone who works for the Fed it is really in my best interest not to entertain their conversation but today I got stuck at the crosswalk. The little pipsqueak decided to inform me that I look like Pam from The Office which, although she is pretty, is the furthest comparison I would imagine for myself.
The guy kept gushing over himself like he had hit on some intellectual goldmine and then proceeded to give me his schpeel. I don't appreciate that they advertise themselves with a large photo of our President with a Hitler mustache, regardless of your affiliation that is just rude, so I snapped at him that I had no desire to hear anything he had to say and then escaped across the street. The right to free speech is so annoying for the innocent bystanders sometimes!
