Happy Friday to everyone! We've had a lovely couple of days in the DC area although I suspect it won't last. Yesterday morning I went to take the dog out wearing running shorts, a sleeveless running shirt and flip flops and dare I say I was almost chilly. This morning was equally as pleasant. Not sure if this will hold out for tomorrow or not, but I hope so.
I've begun a little research into our upcoming trip to Prague and Amsterdam. I have found I like to seek out blogs of other travelers along with reading the reviews on sites like TripAdvisor. Blogs of non-natives living in those cities are the best because they share places that are likely a little more off the beaten path and less mobbed with tourists. I recently found the Prague Daily Photo blog, which is just that. A single or small collection of photos each day around the city. I'm really enjoying seeing what they've posted so far and hopefully it will give me some insight about lesser-known parts of the city.
Soooo water. I drink a lot of water. I am beginning to wonder (actually I've been wondering for a while) whether that 8 glasses of water a day rule is really necessary. I typically drink 16 oz before I leave for work, more if I workout, 24 ounces or more during the work day and maybe another 16 in the evening, cutting it off at least an hour before bed. I can honestly say I don't know that I'm really benefiting from this other then very frequent bathroom trips and some really awesomely bloated feeling days. I'm considering cutting back to see how that goes. I never used to drink that much water in the past, during college and such, and I don't feel like it's making that much of a difference. Any thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated!
