To Tab or not to Tab

Coming up on Monday is our 2 year wedding anniversary. From the start we had decided we didn't need to give each other gifts for our anniversaries but this year we're floating the idea of doing a single purchase for both of us. Since my old laptop really is on its way out (seriously, it's 7 years old and was refurbished when I bought it!) we were thinking of replacing it with a tablet.

Jake was issued an iPad 2 by the company he sub-contracts to and although he likes it he's not a fan of some of its limitations. Friday we're going to look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to see if something on a Android platform might suit us better. It gets decent reviews so we'll see. Anyone have one of these and have any thoughts on it? image via droiddog.com
