Suggestions

I have to take a second to apologize for the typos and grammar mistakes that often appear in this blog. I usually type up my entries quickly, at lunch time, and although I do proofread, I tend to gloss over them sometimes. Thanks to all the sticklers out there for not thinking I'm a total idiot.

We booked our flights for what will likely be our last trip to Europe for a while. We're headed to Prague for 4 nights and Amsterdam for 4 nights in October. I've already booked our hotel in Prague, near Charles Bridge, and am very excited. Jake has been to Amsterdam previously so I'm awaiting more input from him about where we'll stay while there. One thing that we always seem to stress over when we're traveling, whether we've researched or not, is where to eat. So I'm asking, if any of you, kind readers, have been to either of these cities and have a restaurant you remember that you loved, please suggest it! My usual strategy is to compile a decent list of choices and then plop them on a Google map to take with us. This worked out great when we returned to Venice last November. We were armed with a whole variety of choices that we knew would be decent. I thank you in advance!

Tomorrow is my Friday off and I plan to spend at least some of it catching up on The Voice from earlier this week. So far I've avoided hearing anything about it, thankfully. It's going to be a warm weekend but we actually have no real plans so I think we're going to try and get out for a bike ride, perhaps down to Old Town for brunch at our favorite spot, Chadwick's.
