It's gray and humid here today. The rain could fall at any moment. I grabbed my umbrella in anticipation and headed out for my lunchtime walk. I avoided the rain but not some really random sights along the way.
Randomness #1: A guy on the phone, talking loudly, and he said "If you let me get to know you I could help you really relax."
Randomness #2: Woman walking behind me talking on the phone about exorcism. I heard her say "People don't realize that most types of exorcism don't involve peoples' heads turning 360-degrees".
Randomness #3: Full brass ensemble outside the Krispy Kreme at Dupont Circle, complete with drum set, marching in a circle and playing New Orleans-style jazz music.
So there you have it. It's an interesting Monday in our Nation's capital, a city I love with all my heart.
On a side note I brought the cereal I normally have for breakfast as lunch today and enjoyed it very thoroughly.
