Happy Household

Oh my gosh, congratulations to the Packers for dominating most of last night's Super Bowl game and bringing it in for a win. The defense looked good, particularly in the first half and Aaron Rodgers seemed really on last night. The Steelers, well, not as much.

Today I took the next step towards us becoming a 1-car household. We may be down to one car and it may not be the one we're trying to end up with just yet, but I activated the Groupon I bought last month for 1-year of Zipcar at half price. We figured at that discount this would be a good back up to have just in case we end up in a situation where we both absolutely need to have the car. Like if I have a doctor appointment during the day and Jake has to go out to his company's HQ for example. There are two designated Zipcar spots within a 5 minute walk of our place plus more around the neighborhood. Plus who knows, we might want to use a pickup truck to pick something up or a convertible for a nice weekend drive.

And now more gratuitous dog cuteness. Dubs was being particularly snuggly on Saturday evening while I was crying my eyes out watching a movie. I wish I'd had a camera, not just my phone within reach, but she was laying on my legs which are under the blanket here and I didn't want to get up and disturb her.

This dog has no shame I tell you, no shame in soliciting belly rubs. She'll pretty much drop to her back for just about anyone if she thinks she's going to get one. Such a trusting one she is, and gentle, until I try to clip her nails that is.

So we're headed to a different, yet somehow potentially not better, Honda dealership tonight in search of our CR-V. This one has a huge inventory and likely has at least one that is just what we want.  Here's hoping they're not jerks.
