Viva la weekend!

So what's on tap in our household this weekend? It'll be a fun one, let me tell you! Okay seriously though the rundown looks something like this:

• Friday evening trip to Lowe's (I have to go outside the beltway twice this weekend, eep!)
• Saturday morning trip to Baltimore for a wedding, looking forward to catching up with some of my extended family
• Saturday evening prep of the master bathroom for painting and toilet removal
• Sunday morning (for me) long run of yet to be determined length, more than 2 hours at least
• Sunday morning/afternoon removal of master bath toilet to reseal with a new wax ring (supposedly it's leaking into our downstairs neighbor's wall) and repainting while the toilet is off
• Sunday evening (should be fun!) trip over to the Pacers Clarendon location for the awards ceremony for their 2010 race series. I earned enough Pacers points (because I was a running fool!) to earn a medal, short-sleeved t-shirt, bag of some sort and long-sleeved t-shirt. I missed the jacket by just 3 points! Darn!

After all of this excitement I will hopefully have a non-leaking toilet, a serene light-tan bathroom, some cool race swag, even bigger leg muscles and a happily married cousin.

And before I know it I'll be back in the office awaiting the next major east coast snow-event. I call it an event because each one seems to get some crazy name from the media. This week's has been deemed 'Thundersnowtrafficpocolypse'. Yeah, I actually just typed that. Have a good weekend everyone!
