My in-laws are coming to visit us next week. We haven't put together any set schedule of activities yet but I'm sure we'll have a good time. They fly in on Wednesday evening and out on Sunday. Our guest room hasn't gotten any use as a guest room in a while and we actually have to tidy it up a bit since Jake's been teleworking in there. This will be their first time meeting Dublin. Jake's mom loves dogs, I hope they don't try to steal her as she is quite the sweetheart.
The weekend is shaping up pretty nicely. Tomorrow morning is my first run of marathon training. It's an 8-miler that I hope to knock out early in the day. Then we're doing some cleaning. We head into DC in the evening for a housewarming. Sunday we have no plans so I hope to get out and do some shooting for photography class. This week we've been asked to shoot what interests us in the style of a photographer we admire. I chose Pete Souza who is the current White House photographer, but not because of those photos. His online portfolio of photos not from the White House are amazing. I can only aspire to be able to shoot so memorably. Speaking of photography my teacher loved my photo of the from the rally last weekend. I would say that's probably the most memorable shot so far that I've taken as part of this class.
