Three posts

Three posts in one day from me, that must be a record! I just wanted to follow up on the situation with my car. As I had hoped, taking a buffer and some wax to it removed most of the scuffing from the bumper. There are some spots where the paint got scraped off but since the car is a dark color it's not that noticeable. I emailed the girl and told her she was off the hook and I thanked her again for being honest and decent enough to leave a note.

I bought the Scion back in 2006 as a replacement for my Jetta that had been in the shop just a few too many times. I had been driving a manual transmission for years and opted for the same again. I stalled the tC more times in the first month than the entire time I owned the Jetta (a 2000). I grew to really like the tC though and am sad to get rid of it. After realizing though that my car was mostly just sitting at the curb it only made sense to us to downsize to one car. Jake's Civic is more practical and since my mileage is so low we can get more if we sell the Scion. I mentioned my one last road trip hurrah in the previous post. I'm taking her up to Connecticut the weekend after vacation to visit a friend I haven't seen in 7 years! I'm so very excited about this trip and so happy she and I have kept in touch via email and are now reconnecting. She has an adorable 1 year old daughter whom I can't wait to meet!
