More seriously I want to give thanks for my wonderful family who were not too disappointed to hear I was blowing off Thanksgiving dinner this year to jet off to Italy. I get to spend all of Christmas with them this year which makes me very happy, and Dublin too I'm sure although she doesn't know it yet. I am also very thankful for my husband despite the fact he doesn't hold up his end of this blog (just teasing Jake!). Having the person I share my life with be someone who gives me and my feelings the utmost respect while allowing me the space and freedom to be myself is something everyone deserves and should strive for. It took me a while to figure out not to settle but I'm glad I did.
And I'm thankful for my friends. I have all these wonderful people in my life who each have their own set of amazing qualities. It really makes life so much more entertaining.
I hope everyone has a really wonderful Thanksgiving with safe travels and delicious food, of course! We'll be back with you in about a week!
