Arlington 9/11 5k Recap

It was a beautiful night for a run. We got there early and positioned ourselves near the start. Jake and I both posted new personal records of 22:22 for him and 26:11 for me (I was shooting to beat 26 but was happy with this new PR). This put me 39th out of 511 in my age group, wooo! Before the race they dedicated VA Route 27 (Washington Blvd) as 9/11 Heroes Highway. It was a fantastic race!
