Monday: Hill or speed work
Tuesday: 6 mile run
Wednesday: Crosstrain/weight train
Thursday: 6 mile run
Friday: Total rest!
Saturday: Long run!
Sunday: Light crosstrain/weight train
This may or may not be the best way to go about it but it's working for me. I get plenty of walking in there too which helps keep things from tightening up. It's been fun coming up with ways to make sure I'm eating and drinking the things I need to both before and after exercising although I'm not sure how psyched Jake is about the amount of healthier foods that have been showing up in our fridge. I had him eating kale the other night and he didn't complain too much though!
I wanted to share my new threads for football season. I got a cute t-shirt in support of my team and Jake's so I can always be in fashion on Sundays. Now if these two teams end up playing each other I will definitely be wearing the maroon shirt.

Jake - you can come over to my place for leftover birthday cake if you're still hungry.
Go 'Skins! The Packers come to town on October 10th. I doubt they play each other again this season. No way the Packers make the playoffs (as if the 'Skins will).
Hate to break it to you but the Pack is one of the teams being projected to win the Super Bowl this year.
