Tomorrow is my main man's birthday. We holding off on our date night though until next Saturday since I will be up early on Sunday for the Cherry Blossom Run. I feel pretty good about it. It won't be a very fast one but I figure I've got to start somewhere. I am still searching for that love of running that I used to have and having fully found it yet. It has become more of a necessary activity for the purposes of weight management and stress management. Whatever the reason I know it is good for me even if I am not enamored.

Friday Outfit
Pulling out a dress today, one of my favorites. It is a brown Tahari number I got from an online boutique sale site. When I first bought it, I will admit that it didn't actually fit. I was in the midst of my heavy running days and my hips/thighs were carrying more fat and muscle. Against my better judgement, I held onto it and eventually, after I took a pass on the running, I was able to wear it. I was very glad to because the neckline detailing is kind of unique and it has an overall good fit. I should have paired it with a more interesting pair of shoes, given it has a small leopard print belt, but forgot to throw them in my bag. I have a drawer of shoes at work but they are all pretty simple: black heels, patent black heels, brown heels, nude heels, black flats and a pair of heeled sandals.
