Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I made my best turkey/stuffing combination yet. We had a small gathering, just the 4 of us and my parents and enough food to feed a small army. Everyone loved the food, well, mostly. The kiddos are super-picky for various reasons. Evan has the cold that my parents and Jake are suffering from and so he hasn't been too hungry for anything much this week. Declan was just being a 3-year old and not eating because that is what we wanted him to do. He decided the cranberry sauce was his favorite and ate like 3 slices of it. Tomorrow my folks are going to watch the boys and Jake and I are going to see Mockingjay Part 2. I am excited but also sad the franchise is ending.

It has been a frustrating and stressful year for a variety of reasons but I am reminded that I have so much to be thankful for. Aside from my usual love of my family, I made a couple of really amazing friends at work this year. One of them has moved on to another position but we still talk all the time and she is one of the most positive and motivating people I know. We are completely opposite in as many ways as we are alike and that works so well for us. I am very happy to have her in my life.

Now it is time to stop shopping for myself and get working on the holiday shopping. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
