We had brunch at our favorite brunch spot and the little guy was so well-behaved. I think, if he's not tired, he enjoys the high chair because he can see so much more. He spent part of the time staring at a ceiling fan and part of it flirting with the woman eating across the aisle from us.
Declan had his first dip in our pool. He was unsure, I think because of the coolness of it but he didn't hate it so we hope to make many more visits down there this summer.
We walked over to our local park to check out the new splash park that opened and we decided to give him a try on the swings. He liked riding in one of our laps but he wasn't a fan of being in the bucket swing by himself yet.
Yesterday I dressed him up in his Orioles gear in honor of a visit from Uncle Scott up at my parents' house. Declan, of course, leaked out of his diaper during his nap though and had to be changed. If the O's go on a losing streak I suppose the fans can blame my son.
It was a wonderful weekend and now we are less than 2 weeks away from vacation. It's so close I can almost taste it!
