Quoted from the TSA website:
"Passengers cannot leave babies in an infant carrier and attempt to put it through the X-ray machine. Babies should be carried through a walk through metal detector by a parent or guardian."
Maybe I'm just being smug or overestimating the general intelligence of most Americans, but are people really that idiotic to think that TSA would allow them to send their baby through the x-ray machine in their car seat?
That being said, our first flight with Declan is now booked for the end of next month. We do not plan on apologizing to our fellow passengers in advance or handing out earplugs and candy. Who has time/money for that? Who cares that much what other people think? Not me. Wish us luck.
