Moving along

It is not my idea of a productive morning when I have to spend an hour fighting with my HP Designjet 5500 plotter. Imagine an inkjet printer that prints up to 6 feet wide. That is what is sitting in my office causing me grief right now. It annoys me because this cyan ink cartridge wasn't empty but I had to replace it because it went bad early. I have no idea how much these suckers even cost. (Blackberry in photo for size reference.)
I also had to oil the printhead rods (sounds sexy, no?) and it finally stopped giving me errors. It's like the universe knows it is my Friday and wants to challenge me.

I'm happy that I've been very diligent with my workouts, although when the alarm went off this morning I was feeling less inclined. After four days in a row of varied, intense exercise my body is sore and I was ready to take a break and "sleep in" until 5:45, wooo! I've added a day or two of brisk walking at a steep-ish incline on the treadmill per week. This will help prepare my muscles for hiking and such while we're in New Zealand. At least, I hope it will.

My coworker currently has a package of lemon Quadratinis in her office. Dunno if you are familiar but they are these fantastic little wafer cookies, less than an inch square each, that come from Italy. I've gotten them before at World Market. I'm spoiled to have a World Market so close to home because it is a great place to find very random international foods, especially cookies and candy, plus they have a fantastic selection of wine and good beer. The lemon Quadratinis are by far my favorite but the chocolate, dark chocolate and vanilla varieties are also quite good. They apparently also come in apple and orange but I have never seen those on any store shelves unfortunately. I suppose I should check Amazon for those. Actually I think those flavors might not be available anymore as I don't see them on the manufacturer's website from which I borrowed the above image.
