Some kind of cold/sinus irritation manifested itself in my head earlier this week. I can't say that I'm surprised at all given how much time I spent on planes recently. I spent the afternoon on the couch yesterday since work has been light this week and I knew I'd be much better off there then staring at this screen. The pressure in my head has pretty much subsided and I'm now just managing a drippy nose while attempting to keep from developing one of my infamous wicked coughs. In the past, pretty much any time I suffered from any kind of ailment that involved chest congestion I would develop this terrible cough that would actually become habit long after the cold was gone. On two occasions I had coughing fits so violent that I bruised my ribs. Good times. Thankfully I have found Mucinex and I take it at the first sign of throat/chest build up. Works like a charm.
I'm working on the design for our holiday card this year. As some of you might remember I designed all of the paper products for our wedding. I have also done a few sets of invitations for friends' baby/bridal showers, new address note cards that I sent out after we moved into the condo and last year's holiday note cards. For this year's design I'm going to reach back to the design I used for our wedding invites (below) and come up with something cute and relevant for this year's holiday season. Can't wait to see what I come up with!
