Tryst

So a month ago maybe I notice a young couple canoodling behind one of the columns at the entrance to the Farragut West metro station. It was cute and nothing out of the ordinary. Since then I have seen them, together, in the same spot every day (that I've been at work anyway). I'm not sure what their story is but I've been having fun coming up with all sorts of wild, romantic scenarios in my head. Maybe they have to meet in secret because their parents object. Or they are involved in a clandestine affair. Reality is likely that it's new love and they are maximizing time together before one of them has to rush off to work. I remember being in high school and dating and wanting to maximize every second with that person. Aahhh young love. Anyway, it's none of my business, but I'm curious to see how long their daily meetings continue.
