Warm Heart Fuzzies

I reconnected with another old friend over the past week. Not sure where all the inspiration to do this is coming from but I'm happy. It spawned from my visit with my friends in Connecticut in December. J told me she was still close with K who I knew through one of my exes as well and that she was moving to Boston from Ohio. I was glad to hear that she was doing well. I hadn't seen her in over 8 years and then she popped up on (the dreaded) Facebook last week. We traded a couple of messages and now it looks like we're going to try to plan a girls' weekend in Boston, she, J and I, when the weather gets warmer. So excited about this!!

As of last night we are officially a one-car family. I promise to take a proper photo of our new vehicle over the weekend, not that you all don't know what a CR-V looks like already. I hooked up my iPod in it last night as I was driving and I know this isn't a new concept but it's so cool, ha ha!

Tonight is the first night this week that I am able to actually sit and relax. Jake has a soccer game and I am going to catch up on shows I have recorded. I also plan on whipping up some brownies for my Valentine, nothing exciting, just a box mix I have in the pantry. I'm going to doctor them up though with some frozen cherries and chocolate chips I think. I will likely bestow some of them on my coworkers next week to keep me from indulging too much.

And I STILL owe you guys bathroom photos. I'm doing all of the art that I plan to decorate the walls with myself and so it's still in progress. I need to get some frames too so bear with me!
