Busy week

All this car stuff is eating away at our free time this week, not that I'm complaining. Our experience at the second Honda dealership was way above and beyond what we were expecting, mostly because the price they offered us was even lower than the first place and the sales guy ran out to Fairfax that evening to get the car we wanted since it wasn't on the Duke Street location lot. We weren't expecting to bring the car home on Monday and we didn't even have the checkbook with us, not that it would have helped the money was still in transfer. We gave them a deposit and signed a promissory note saying we'd bring the rest to them today. Pretty sweet. And the CR-V is great! I drove us to yoga class in it last night. It's so comfy and full of new car smell. Gotta love that! Tonight we're off to sell the Civic.

So I've been watching VH1 in the mornings that I'm down in the gym to try and catch up on new music. Full disclosure, my taste in music isn't really so impressive, although I think my husband's is worse in that he mostly still only listens to music from the Seattle grunge rock era. He was in middle school at that point in time and it's not that those bands weren't great, they were, but sometimes it's nice to see what else is out there.  I'm really obsessing over this song right now from Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. I can't quite figure out what prior era of music this sparks in my memory but I'm digging it. Enjoy!
