The Shopping Bug

Right around this point in December I always pose the question to myself, why is it so easy to spend money this time of year? Those retailers, they are so slick with their sales and promotions. I get sucked right in! Holiday gifts for the family? Of course I've got those under control! My winter wardrobe? It's now updated thanks to numerous sales that began before Black Friday and will continue through the new year. It's a conspiracy I tell you! Okay maybe not, it's just good marketing. And I'm supporting our economy. 20% off of jeans and cords at J Crew? Yes please and thank you. My New Year's resolution of cutting back on the shopping is already in the works, as it usually is.

Jake and I have both been pretty busy. Work is keeping him on his laptop while I've been busy keeping things cleaned up around the house. I'm really looking forward to a relaxing weekend in which neither of us will be touching either of those things. My Colts won last night and hopefully our other teams will follow suit.
