My brain is already there

Some of my coworkers and I have been feeling a bit run down. Everyone is really busy and things are stressful and frustrating. As I was looking at the calendar I realized that in a little over two weeks I'll be here:

Waking up each morning and trudging over this to find delicious breakfast (only with fewer people since it won't be August this time):

And probably not seeing as many of these given that temperatures will be more in the 50's this time around:

Most of all I'm looking forward to putting my "under construction" photography skills to work in one of the most magical cities in the world (in my opinion anyway). We are fully prepared for this trip including pre-purchased discount Vaparetto transport passes, but it has snuck up on me regardless. I plan to put the running on hold and thoroughly enjoy every drop of prosecco, every morsel of gnocchi and every moment, rainy or not, of this trip.
